If coming into the Cotswolds by train from London for the day, we recommend taking the train from London Paddington to either Moreton-in-Marsh or Kemble. Both are direct and just between 70-90 minutes. This is often cheaper and quicker than driving or taking a taxi.
Moreton-in-Marsh is better for North Cotswolds Tours and Kemble is better for touring the South Cotswolds or for a tour of the North Cotswolds that includes Bibury.
Kemble access by train from London
Direct trains leave London Paddington for Kemble every hour and the journey takes approximately 1:15 depending on the day of the week and time. Trains alternate between being direct and requiring one simple change at swindon.
